WIPO releases 2026 version of 13th edition of Nice Classification

The 2026 version of the 13th edition of the International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks (Nice Classification) released by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) will enter into force on 1 January 2026, and the International Bureau (IB) of the WIPO will start applying the new version to all applications for international registration received on or after that date.

WIPO set to retire old eMadrid platform
